2020 Jeep Gladiator: The Most Capable Midsized Truck Ever
Your favourite 4x4 truck returns better than ever before for the 2020 model year. It's rugged and modern looks bring plenty to love. But once you step inside and feel that off-roading capability for yourself, you'll see this is one of the most fun trucks of all time. So, let's get a closer look at everything the 2020 Jeep Gladiator has to offer.
Drives Built Around Fun
Everything about the way the 2020 Jeep Gladiator drives exudes fun and capability.
Starting off with that 2.6-litre Pentastar V6 motor, you're looking at one reliable engine. And with 285 hp and 260 lb-ft torque, the gladiator will get you going to all the places you never imagined. You'll even get that low range torque to assist you with your off-road adventures (and tow a trailer in the process).
Speaking of towing capacity, you'll get a massive 3,469 kg (7,650 lbs) towing capacity when properly equipped. Just imagine everything this midsize truck can move with that level of capacity. Needless to say, it's more than enough for bringing all your fun horsepower-toys with you for some weekend fun.
And while we're on the topic of fun, you can't overlook the Command-Trac and Rock-Trac 4x4 systems. Just as the names imply, these features lock your front and wheel axle lockers to make for some epic off-roading experiences. And if that's not enough, you'll also get 30 inches of water fording. So not even creeks and shallow rivers can stand in your way of fun.
Blending Rugged with Modern
From a cosmetic perspective, both the Gladiator Rubicon and Gladiator Overland offer designs you'll find nowhere else.
Starting off with the 2019 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon, you'll get that modern boxy look that's unmistakably a capable Jeep. But it's also built with functionality in mind. Just take a look at that back tailgate. It's nice and low to allow for easy visibility when you're climbing boulders or performing any other off-road activity.
Move to the front, and you'll find a forward-facing off-road camera to ensure you always have full sight of the trails in front of you. Plus, you'll even get a water nozzle to keep the lens clean.
But what really stands out about the front of this truck is that large and massive grille. It not only provides a rugged and tough look to this pickup, but it also allows for some easy cooling.
And of course, what's a Jeep without the removable windshield. The attached bolts make for a fold-down windshield that detaches in seconds to make life all the more fun. The soft top and doors also remove with ease.
Moving to the Overland, you'll also find a removable roof. But what stands out most is those lowered fender flairs and the 18-inch wheels. Either way you look at it, both versions of the all-new Jeep Gladiator are built to make the most of your weekend adventures.
Capable Inside and Out
Step inside 2020 Jeep Rubicon and you'll find even more of what you'll want for your off-roading adventures.
For starters, there's the removable storage kit to make the best use of space inside your truck. Plus, there's even more cargo room once you lift those back seats.
As far as other cool features go, you'll get a 5-inch touchscreen as a standard feature on the Jeep Gladiator. And to help you top off your devices, you'll get two USB ports and a USB-C port.
Who says your off-roading is limited to the summer? Opt for the heated seats and you'll find the fun (and comfort) continues even in the winter months.
