Engine and Performance
The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee offers 2 engine options: the standard 3.6L Pentastar™ VVT V6 engine with Stop/Start and the available (in Overland and Summit trim levels) 5.7L HEMI® VVT V8 engine with FuelSaver MDS. The standard engine offers 290 horsepower and 257 foot-pounds of torque with a towing capacity of 2,812 kg (6,200 lb) while the optional HEMI delivers 357 horsepower and 390 foot-pounds of torque and can tow up-to 3,265 kg (7,200 lbs). Both engine options utilize the 8-speed automatic transmission.
Fuel Economy
You’ll be happy to learn that this 7-seater, versatile Jeep uses as little as just 13 L/100km city and 9.4 L/100km hwy (and a plug-in hybrid option being offered in 2022).
