Most of us will inevitably look forward to Canada day, but there's so much to see and do on this national day of our great country it can be difficult to decide exactly what to do and where to go to make the most of the festivities. Here are a few of the Canada Day events that are going on in Toronto and GTA to help you decide which might be for you.

Queen's Park Toronto
Held on the front lawn of the Ontario Legislature, Canada Day at Queen's Park is a day of non-stop fun and activities, including music, dance and children's shows. There will be music and dance performances, roaming performers, games, and children's activities including face painting and children's arts and crafts. Best of all admission is free and it's open to all ages. In addition, new Canadians will participate in a Citizenship Ceremony at 11 am as they become citizens. The event takes place at 12 noon with a 21 gun salute and the singing of O Canada.

Caledon Fair Canada Day Strawberry Festival
If you have a taste for Strawberries there's no better place to be in the area than in Caledon. There are two separate Strawberry-related activities being conducted simultaneously on Canada day. At the Fairgrounds, the 26th annual Caledon Canada Day Strawberry Festival will be held from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
