There are certainly decent amounts of SUVs to choose from these days. At North York Chrysler, we work hard to only offer unique vehicles that bring something special to the table. That's why we are so excited about the 2017 Jeep Compass. This 4-door SUV is a perfect combination of cargo room, performance, safety, and efficiency. To truly understand why the 2017 Jeep Compass is so special, we need to take a closer look at both the interior and exterior of this compact SUV.
The 2017 Jeep Compass is available in 4x4 or FWD, seven bold exterior colours and four unique trim levels including the exciting 75th Anniversary Edition. Depending on the trim, you will have an option of two engines. The first is a 2.0-liter DOHC 16V I-4 engine with Dual VVT that produces 158 horsepower at 6,400 and 141 lb.-ft. of torque at 5,000 rpm. For more power, you can upgrade to the 2.4-liter DOHC 16V I-4 engine with Dual VVT that puts out 172 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 165 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,400 rpm. To control these engines you can pick between a six-speed automatic, five-speed manual, CVT, or CVT2 with off-road crawl ratio transmission. Another benefit of the Jeep Compass is fuel economy as good as 7.9L/100 km highway and
10.3L/100 km city and a driving range of 569 km highway. If you are planning many off-road activities, you'll appreciate the 907 kg of towing power, four-wheel independent suspension, and available Trail Rated capability. In case you don't already know, being Trail Rated means that the 2017 Jeep Compass has passed five demanding off-roading tests, including ground clearance and articulation and water fording.
Safety Under All Conditions
No matter where your next adventure takes you, the 2017 Jeep Compass is built to keep you and your passengers safe. All trim levels include Electronic Stability Control with Electronic Roll Mitigation and Brake Assist and continuous tire pressure monitoring to help ensure passenger safety. Comfort and Technology
Even today's most hardy adventurer demands a certainly level of comfort and technology, and the 2017 Jeep Compass comes through on both accounts.
