Why Rotate Your Tires

Why Rotate Your Tires

This very simple and inexpensive service can make your car safer and save you money.

Tires don't wear evenly for several reasons and as a result, should be rotated regularly. Consider that your front tires support over half the weight of your vehicle and are responsible for steering and 80% of the braking.  And the right side of your vehicle is exposed to a higher risk of hazards such as curbs and potholes.  This results in irregular wear on your tires, so it's important to have your tires rotated from front to back and from side to side.  Make sure when this is being done that the tires are all the same size.

Rotating your tires will prolong the life of your tires and help you retain even performance from your tires.

Tire rotation intervals will vary depending on your vehicle and tires. Please review with our Service Advisors to determine your interval requirements or look in your owner's manual for information on how frequently the tires should be rotated and the best pattern for rotation.
