2021 Jeep Renegade- Everything You Should Know

2021 Jeep Renegade

As far as SUVs go, the 2021 Jeep Renegade is about merging comfort and function with sophistication and style. A smaller-sized and contemporary-looking subcompact crossover, the Renegade prides itself on its off-road prowess, paired with its ability to offer a taste of the open air. CarHub Automotive Group is proud to be a Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Fiat dealer, and we have certainly been feeling the #JeepLife vibes lately, with 2021 marking the 80th anniversary of the iconic automaker. We are excited to bring you the latest on the 2021 Jeep Renegade, which will suit every lifestyle from suburban commuter to country-lovin’ adventure junkie.

Performance:

Are you looking for a practical, family-friendly vehicle? Never fear, as the Jeep Renegade suits the family next door just as much as it suits the car fanatic. The Renegade’s powerful 4x4 system includes the Jeep Active Drive Low 4x4 system (on the Trailhawk model) and Jeep Active Drive on the other trim levels. Meanwhile, the towing capacity of the Renegade is up to 2,000 lb, making it entirely possible for you to tow your camper van if you’re escaping for the weekend.

Fuel Economy:

According to Driving.ca, the 2021 Jeep Renegade offers a fuel economy of 10.8 L/100 km for city driving, and 7.8 L/100 km for highway.

Interior and Exterior Design:

A quick peek at the Renegade interior will reveal that this practical ride offers Best-in-Class rear shoulder room and Best-In-Class 1st Row headroom, which means the headroom available on the Jeep Renegade is the best, when compared to similar vehicles.

There are also a number of sunroof and LED lighting options available for the Jeep Renegade. The Sun and Sound Group (which promises to bring you “more sunshine on the road- who can say no to that?) offers a dual-pane panoramic sunroof that comes with a power retractable front pane. This awesome sunroof can be extended all the way back to the rear seats of the vehicle, ensuring that your backseat passengers are enjoying the views. This also gives them less time for backseat driving- which is a major plus for you in the driver’s seat!

Meanwhile, the standard LED lighting offered on the Trailhawk Elite promises to light your way in style with premium bifunctional LED projector headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, LED cornering fog lamps and LED taillamps.

You also won’t have any trouble with storing goods, whether we are talking about the kids’ sports gear or your family’s camping equipment. The cargo area comes with up to 50.8 cu ft of space for your storage. Of course, the exterior brings us sunroof options which will leave you craving the open roads. The Renegade offers a cool dual pane panoramic sunroof, with a fully power retractable front pane. The added luxury of heated front seats and dual-zone automatic temperature control is offered on all trim levels, and makes for a more comfortable commute.

Engine:

The Jeep Renegade Trailhawk model comes with a standard 1.3L Turbo Direct Injection Engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the 2.4L Tigershark MultiAir 1-4 engine is standard on the Sport and North Models and is also equipped with a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Technology:

Everybody wants the newest high-tech features while on the road, and luckily with the Jeep Renegade, you’ll be driving in true tech-savvy style. The vehicle comes with Keyless Entry and Remote Start, which are both plus factors for getting your commute started on the right note. The customizable display comes with an available 7-inch screen, and the UConnect infotainment system is compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Meanwhile, the Kenwood® Premium Audio system offers top notch sound quality, with a sound pressure level of 104.5 dB.

Safety is always top of mind when it comes to the Jeep Renegade, which comes with a number of safety features. Collision sensor technology promises to keep your vehicle distanced, with the Forward Collision Warning feature which also offers Active Braking. Meanwhile, Blind Spot Monitoring allows you to keep a careful eye on your lane changes, with a Rear Cross Detection feature which will scope out the surroundings and essentially act as a rear cross traffic alert.
